Bonny Eagle spirit out in full force for a good cause

Bonny Eagle students and staff turned out in force Thursday morning (Oct. 5) at 6 a.m. to take part in the Channel 13 School Spirit Challenge. WGME's Jeff Peterson and Lexie O'Connor were on hand to interview all the school's athletic teams, the robotics team, the drama club, and the school band. The pep rally was broadcast live in several segments on WGME. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the Good Shepard Food Bank in Lewiston. Students and staff brought canned goods and other food stuffs, and made donations to the cause. BEHS is competing against other southern Maine high schools for the School Spirit trophy, the winner of which will be announced later this fall.
