The Kindness Guy, Michael Chase, came to BEHS on Oct. 17
From staff reports
Michael Chase, the author of “Are You Being Kind,” returned to Bonny Eagle Oct. 17 to speak to the freshman class about the power of kindness. Senior class president Jessica Ciampi introduced Chase and told students how much reading Chase’s book has changed her life.
Chase started off his 75-minute talk by telling students about his unhappy teen years, during which his terrible relationship with his father almost drove him to suicide. Chase said he was saved by the police, who disarmed him before he could hurt himself. He began to realize then that he’d been given a second chance to make someting of his life.
